New Scholarship Programme for Young Researchers

The programme is addressed to PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers from all academic disciplines whose work focuses on key future challenges. Priority areas include:

• climate-neutral technologies, energy transition and sustainable mobility,
• artificial intelligence, digitalisation and microelectronics,
• European security and the resilience of science systems,
• biotechnology and the medicine of the future,
• social consequences of emerging technologies.

Participants will have the opportunity to conduct research at selected German research institutions and join interdisciplinary working groups dedicated to collaborative research and building long-term scientific networks between Poland, France and Germany.

The programme aims to foster trilateral scientific cooperation within the Weimar Triangle by supporting joint research projects, strengthening international networks of early-career researchers, and developing solutions to major European and global challenges.

The application deadline is 15 June 2026.
