The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has launched a new scholarship programme entitled “Future Network Weimar Triangle: Science for Europe”. The initiative offers young researchers from Poland, France and Germany an opportunity to carry out research stays in Germany and strengthen scientific cooperation within the Weimar Triangle framework.
The programme is addressed to PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers from all academic disciplines whose work focuses on key future challenges. Priority areas include:
climate-neutral technologies, energy transition and sustainable mobility,
artificial intelligence, digitalisation and microelectronics,
European security and the resilience of science systems,
biotechnology and the medicine of the future,
social consequences of emerging technologies.
Participants will have the opportunity to conduct research at selected German research institutions and join interdisciplinary working groups dedicated to collaborative research and building long-term scientific networks between Poland, France and Germany.
The programme aims to foster trilateral scientific cooperation within the Weimar Triangle by supporting joint research projects, strengthening international networks of early-career researchers, and developing solutions to major European and global challenges.
