A space where science meets art, ideas turn into interdisciplinary projects, and young researchers work side by side with creators from across disciplines — recruitment for the next term of the Academy of Young Scholars and Artists in Wrocław has officially begun.
The Academy brings together some of the most promising early-career scientists and artists connected with Wrocław’s academic community. Since its establishment, it has served as a platform for dialogue, collaboration and bold intellectual exchange across disciplines that rarely meet in everyday academic practice.
The initiative is open to researchers and artists under the age of 35 who already demonstrate significant achievements in their fields and want to actively shape the scientific and cultural landscape of the city. Membership in the Academy lasts five years and offers an opportunity to develop interdisciplinary projects, build professional networks and participate in initiatives combining science, culture and public engagement.
Academy members co-create conferences, educational programmes, debates and social initiatives. In recent years, the Academy has organised projects devoted to topics such as loneliness, complexity in contemporary science and culture, and support for students entering the academic world.
Beyond prestige, the Academy offers something increasingly valuable in today’s fragmented academic reality: a genuine space for collaboration between people who think differently, work differently and create differently.
