Early-career researchers working in quantitative disciplines are invited to apply for the G-Research NextGen Grants programme. Through this initiative, G-Research provides monthly grants of up to £2,000 to support research activities that are often difficult to fund through traditional funding schemes.
The programme is open to postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers working in fields including computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mathematics, physics, engineering and quantitative finance.
Funding may be used to cover a wide range of research-related expenses, such as conference attendance, research visits, specialist training, essential equipment, childcare costs associated with research travel, or other activities that directly support scientific development. Applications are accepted every month, allowing researchers to seek support whenever funding needs arise.
The initiative forms part of G-Research NextGen, a broader programme dedicated to supporting the next generation of STEM researchers through grants, scholarships and academic partnerships.
