EMERALD Funding Schemes Open for Polish Life Scientists

Researchers from Poland can apply for a range of funding opportunities offered through the EMERALD programme, an initiative designed to strengthen collaboration between the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) and the Polish life science community.

The programme supports new scientific partnerships, international mobility and the exchange of expertise between Polish institutions and EMBL researchers. Three funding schemes are currently available:

• EMERALD Networking Outgoing Funds — supporting scientists based at Polish research institutions who wish to visit EMBL or participate in EMBO courses and conferences;
• EMERALD Funds for Inviting EMBL Researchers to Poland — enabling Polish researchers to host EMBL scientists in order to establish or strengthen scientific collaborations;
• EMERALD Conference Support Funds — dedicated to organisers of conferences and symposia who invite EMBL researchers as speakers.

The initiative aims to foster long-term international cooperation and facilitate access to leading European research networks in the life sciences.
