Modern 3D bioprinting technology is rapidly entering biomedical laboratories, transforming how research is conducted and new therapies are developed. During the webinar, participants will learn the fundamentals of this method – from creating bioinks to printing strategies – and discover how innovative solutions support advances in regenerative medicine, disease modelling, and drug discovery.
The session will be led by Dr Munir Al-Zeer, an experienced microbiologist whose work spans infectious diseases, immunology and advanced 3D culture systems, including bioprinting and organoids. Drawing on his extensive academic and research background, he will present real-world examples from laboratories around the globe, offering an accessible introduction to this fast-growing field. The webinar is intended for students, scientists, and professionals interested in the latest trends in biomedicine.
