2026-03-20The National Science Centre (NCN) has announced the PRELUDIUM 25 call for proposals, aimed at early-stage researchers without a PhD degree who wish to gain their first experience in leading a research project.
PRELUDIUM is one of NCN’s flagship funding schemes supporting basic research projects conducted by researchers at the beginning of their scientific careers. It enables applicants to independently design and implement research projects and build their academic track record.

Who can apply?
The call is addressed to researchers who do not hold a PhD degree at the time of proposal submission and are at the early stage of their scientific careers. PRELUDIUM grants are designed to provide them with their first opportunity to act as principal investigators.
