Researchers conducting disease-focused life science research are invited to apply for the FUJIFILM Biosciences Disease Modeling Research Grant. Three researchers will receive support worth up to USD 5,000 each in FUJIFILM Biosciences reagents for their research projects.
The grant aims to support innovative studies that combine mechanistic insights with potential real-world and translational impact. Areas of interest include:
- iPSC-based disease modeling
- 2D and 3D cell culture and organoid systems
- functional assay development
- translational disease research
Who can apply?
The call is open to researchers conducting disease-focused life science research who are affiliated with academic, nonprofit, biotechnology or pharmaceutical institutions in eligible countries, including EU member states. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, authorized by their institution to participate and able to begin the proposed project shortly after receiving the award.
Application requirements
The research proposal should be no longer than 400 words and describe the biological question, disease relevance and potential impact, experimental strategy, collaborators, and how FUJIFILM Biosciences reagents will support the study. Applicants may also submit up to three figures with legends. References are limited to 200 words.
Proposals will be evaluated based on scientific soundness, innovation potential, translational relevance and feasibility of the research plan.
Funding: up to USD 5,000 in FUJIFILM Biosciences reagents per awardee

Application deadline: 26 September 2026, 8:59 a.m. CEST
Results: selected applicants will be notified by email during the week of 26 October 2026.
