Applications open for the 9th edition of the Young Talents Forge summer school

PhD students and early-career researchers are invited to apply for the 9th edition of the Young Talents Forge (Kuźnia Młodych Talentów, KMT AMU) summer school, organised by the Young Academy of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The event will take place on 11–13 September 2026 at the Polish Academy of Sciences Conference Centre in Jabłonna, near Warsaw.

Young Talents Forge is an interdisciplinary programme designed to support the scientific and professional development of young researchers. Participants will have an opportunity to exchange experiences, build interdisciplinary networks, and develop key competencies for a successful research career.

The programme includes:

• science communication and self-presentation workshops,
• sessions on collaboration with socio-economic partners,
• meetings focused on scholarships and international mobility opportunities,
• scientific visual storytelling workshops,
• popular science lectures delivered by distinguished researchers,
• a scientific presentation competition for participants.

Applications are open until 30 June 2026. The participation fee is PLN 1,200.
