The seminar will focus on modern physiotherapy strategies for neurological patients, with particular emphasis on Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and myasthenia gravis.
The programme is based on current European and national scientific society guidelines as well as the clinical experience of the speakers. Participants will learn about therapy planning at different stages of disease progression, methods for monitoring treatment outcomes, and examples of interdisciplinary teamwork in clinical practice.
The seminar will be led by Justyna Szefler-Derela, MD, PhD, and Dagmara Wasiuk-Zowada, MD, PhD — physiotherapists and experts in adult neurorehabilitation affiliated with the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice.
The event will also serve as an introduction to a forthcoming monograph devoted to neurological physiotherapy.
