European Commission publishes guidelines on the responsible use of generative AI in research
2026-05-08The Wrocław Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences has announced the 15th edition of the “Iuvenes Wratislaviae” Award competition, recognizing outstanding scientific and artistic achievements of early-career researchers working in Lower Silesia.
The award is intended for researchers under the age of 37 who hold a doctoral degree and are permanently employed in Lower Silesia. The competition is organized in two equivalent categories:
- life sciences, exact sciences, and engineering,
- humanities, social sciences, and the arts.
Candidates may be nominated by members and scientific commissions of the Wrocław PAN Branch, scientific societies, university faculties and discipline councils, as well as research institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences operating in Lower Silesia.
Applications should include a nomination form, supporting documents, justification of the candidate’s achievements, and copies of publications or other materials documenting the submitted accomplishment. The submission deadline is June 30, 2026.
Over the years, the award has recognized numerous distinguished young researchers from Wrocław academic institutions, including scientists from University of Wrocław and research institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
