2026-01-26PhD candidates from the Doctoral School of Wroclaw Medical University have launched a new series of public lectures for residents of Lower Silesia. The initiative aims to share current scientific knowledge in an accessible format and will continue with monthly meetings throughout the academic year.
The inaugural event featured two expert lectures combining academic insight with practical experience. Dorota Bęben, MSc (Pharm.), discussed interactions between dietary supplements and medications, highlighting common risks, real-life case studies, and the importance of informed and responsible supplement use.
The second lecture, delivered by Karolina Tądel, MSc, focused on artificial intelligence and innovation in healthcare. She presented AI as a supportive tool for medical professionals, outlining its applications in areas such as diagnostics, remote patient monitoring, hospital automation, and digital health solutions, while also emphasizing the need to understand associated risks.
Both talks were met with strong audience engagement, confirming that Doctoral Candidates for Lower Silesians is a valuable platform for promoting science and innovation in medicine.
