26th Edition of the POLITYKA Science Awards now open
The call for applications to the 26th edition of the Science Awards organized by the Polityka Weekly Foundation is now open. The competition is addressed to early-career researchers who have demonstrated significant scientific achievements, including a completed PhD, high-impact publications, or notable research projects.
Awards are granted across five scientific fields. Each year, a jury selects 15 finalists, from whom five main laureates are chosen.
The winners receive scholarships of PLN 15,000, while the remaining finalists are awarded distinctions of PLN 5,000. The programme is considered one of the most prestigious recognitions for young researchers in Poland and plays an important role in promoting emerging scientific talent.
The application deadline is June 14, 2026.
